If you’re a follower on Twitter or have a seen a few pics from my Instagram, you should know that I have a major gold craving at the moment! My obsession has now moved from accessories to shoes, with these gorgeous gold studded slipper-style shoes from Primark! They’re super comfortable, and give an certain edge to any outfit, its the perfect combination of casual and preppy (the slipper shape), but edgy and dressy enough to add something special to a plain outfit. These also come if black with silver, which I am definitely purchasing! These are beyond perfect for college!

‘Back 2 School’ checklist - a pair of flats As much as I wish I attended Constance Billard with Blair and Serena, and got to wear heels every day for college, according to my friends already attending college, that is a no go :( & yes, I was considering wearing low courts to college, LOL. Any ways! Just like every girl needs a pair of black heels, she also needs a simple pair of black flats, no matter what you wear, black flats are sure to be a winner to match the outfit - however, thanks to our awesome high street stores and head designers, the simple pair of flats can be girly with bows and pearl embellishments or edgy with spike studs! Personally, I’m more of a loafer kinda girl! They’re preppy and timeless, but lately I’ve been really loving the slipper shape, especially these Charlotte Olympia style flats from Boohoo.com for just £19! They’re so cute and quirky!. Seeing these leopard print flats from Miss Selfridge remind me of an outfit I saw on Shirley Eniang’s blog ‘Meek-n-Mild’, its chic and great for a casual day at college. Lastly, I think these studded flats from TOPSHOP, are perfect for adding some edge and embellishment to a simple outfit! My tumblr dash and Bloglovin’ lists have been taken over by Jeffrey Campbell lately, so I felt it was time to give a helping hand to those who aren’t ready to blow £200 on shoes! The Bargainista’s best friend, Boohoo.com has brought out these kicks that can give Campbell a run for his money! :O The “Olivia Black Leather Look Platform Shoe Boots” (£35) are perfect for those who have been drooling over the pics of the infamous JC ‘Litas’ which are originally £107, but for the fashion fearless who want something more wild, Boohoo.com has even made their own version of JC’s “Night Nail Platforms” (originally £113) called “Danika Black Suedette Cut Away Wedge” for only £40!! - Affordable and fashionable, its the best of both worlds! ;) XO, TDR ♥
