MENS-DAY WEDNESDAY
A/W 12 Trends: Polo Necks
Thanks to the likes of Prada, Jil Sander and Lanvin, the underrated Polo neck has made a strong comeback this season! In Prada’s A/W12 show, majority of the models were wearing Polo necks, as well as the models in Lanvin’s show last year. Fortunately, the high street have caught up with this and are offering affordable Polo necks, perfect to channel a Prada look this Autumn/Winter.
For a formal/smart or work wear outfit, wear your Polo neck, underneath a crisp white, shirt with the top button undone - it’s stylish and daring and oh so deliciously preppy or alternatively, to add some masculinity to a very metropolitan look, wear a chunky knit Polo neck jumper with a pair of rugged denim jeans and boots.
Polo necks are available from most high street retailers as well as ASOS.com, but they have a very limited range, however - after doing a bit of research I saw new Polo Necks, for £7 each on Ebay! There is potential for a lot of amazing finds on Ebay, so check it out!

This winter, take a trip to the far east with kimono shapes and elaborate detailing! If you’re wanting to go adventurous this season, try channelling the ‘Samurai’! From Jason Wu’s oriental glamour to Proenza Schouler’s mandarin collared mini dresses, this is one trend you don’t want to miss out on, and Boohoo has made sure you won’t!

Fresh from their A/W collection, Boohoo have released a range of key items that can turn any old, basic outfit into something bang on trend! The Darcey Kimono can be thrown over a vest and leggings for a more relaxed glamour look in the day, the detailed patterns and fringing make this £20 look oh so more expensive!. This may not go down well with most, but it was one of my favourite pieces in the entire book! The Megan Blazer, for just £30, you’ve got a jacket that nails two trends! worn with black and gold and you’ve transformed this Proenza-esque item to something more Rococo, more Dolce & Gabbana!. I love a good work-to-club, transitional piece, and for £16, the Hannah top is perfect for that!, for a masculine look, wear with cigarette trousers and a blazer, for a feminine flair, pencil skirt and heels!

That was just one trend readers! So please stay tuned for the amazing items Boohoo has to offer this season!

Met Ball 2012 - The Looks I Loved
After yesterday’s twitter frenzy, there was just no avoiding the gorgeous dresses and the celebrities in them attending the Met Ball last night! Being named “The Oscars of the upper east side”, and me being totally in love with everything to do with the Big Apple, I just had to drop in my verdict of last nights attire ;)
Emma Stone in Lanvin - Emma looked absolutely adorable and very age/length appropriate in this ballerina-esque dress custom made by Alber Elbaz himself. I think the black gloss leather pumps really finished the look!
Jessica Alba in Michael Kors - Not too crazy about the make-up, but nonetheless, Jessica was defo going for the gold in everyone’s fashion verdict by wearing this gorgeous Michael Kors gown
Diane Kruger in Prada - Prada totally rocked the Met Ball last night! and Diane  looked absolutely stunning! Its so refreshing to see such a gorgeous, royal shade of purple, and it really compliments her blonde hair
Chanel Iman in Tom Ford - Chanel looked flawless as usual, attending the Met Ball in Tom Ford, and attended with the designer himself! I love the intense eye make up and the nude lips.
What were your favourite looks at the Met Ball 2012?
