Home Decor: Candles
Candles to me are an necessity in every home, the flickering and the glow of the flame is so comforting, yet romantic. Not only are they very inexpensive, but there’s so much you can do with them to achieve a different look such as purchasing jars and lanterns to store them in or even filling a fire place with them (which, may I add looks amazing).
I’ve always promised myself that my first flat (especially my bedroom and bathroom) shall be filled with candles! Might be a total fire hazard but at least the firemen will walk in thinking what a pretty home I have.. hehe!

Pinks, Corals, Peaches….. the perfect summer colour and the perfect colour scheme to go by for Prom.
Nude shoes are an ultimate classic, so splurging on these for prom can be easily explained as an investment ;-)
Regarding jewellery you can go two ways; gold! still roughly staying within the colour palette or mix it up! I love harsh, contrasting colours on pastels, gives the whole look a modern twist!

Quick snapshot of what I wore last night to a casual dinner with some close friends of mine.
I paired my boyfriend jeans with a white, baggy shirt, studded loafers and my gold Michael Kors watch. I love how denim can make anything look more casual… but without looking like a total slob!

I opted for a casual look for college today! Although I’m wearing what is basically a top and a pair of leggings, choosing to wear a white blouse have definitely given this casual ensemble a more polished finish. I bought this blouse last weekend from Primark and I love it! It’s lightweight and isn’t sheer at all which is an added bonus for me, the blouse has a really soft feel to it and it’s the perfect staple item for your Spring/Summer wardrobe! at just a tenner too!
I topped off the look with some gold accessories, including this J.Crew-esque bracelet, which is also from Primark…. Guess I had a real field day last week there, haha!
