Following up from my previous post (which was quite ‘slapdash’ if I do say so myself :L) , I bring to you a whole new and very easy method to change your Autumn/Winter wardrobe, to something a lil more fabulous!

I’m all for plaid shirts and denim jeans, but when the weather isn’t looking to good, a bit of sparkle never hurt anyone right? ;) I absolutely love the combination of a chunky knit with a glittery vest, it just looks so chic! and I’m always seeing it on Pinterest and of course on Tumblr.

The pink and white, sequinned top is from H&M for just £15, which can easily be worn in the summer with a white skirt and cream accessories. The grey sequinned vest is from TOPSHOP and the cream and gold tee is from Miss Selfridge. The two images on either side have been taken from Boohoo.com’s exclusive and ultra-glamorous, ‘Boutique’ collection. The white vest is £25 and the multi-coloured top is £31, which is amazing value for such an exclusive item - the colours and overall design remind me so much of Serena (from Gossip Girl for you UES newbs :P haha)

Steal her style - Serena Van Der Woodsen in ‘The Fugitives’, Season 5 Episode 23 of Gossip Girl

Despite her hectic day in the Upper East Side, Serena looks effortlessly chic as usual in a cut out knit jumper, tucked into a patterned skirt with a pair of sparkly brogues! Although I would’ve preferred some court heels or a nice pair of loafers, the glittery brogues adds a charming edge that no one other than Serena could pull off.. and by the time I finished editing the picture above.. I kind of ended up falling in love with the brogues myself, Lol x

I loved the muted colour scheme, the warm colours are absolutely perfect for Autumn/Winter and I think the light pinks and creams really suit Serena (Blake, whichever you prefer, lol). This powdered pink, cut out jumper is from Boohoo.com for £30, I think this is such a versatile piece of knitwear and its such a nice change to a normal cut jumper. The lace skirt is from River Island for £25, this skirt can easily be worn in the summer with a crisp, white shirt. And lastly, these magical looking brogues are from ALDO for £45, they’re are so perfect for any holiday parties!

#OOTD - 19/09/2012 Looking very Autumn/Winter ready today, I decided to break in my new riding boots and pair it with some burgundy leggings, a simple, white men’s shirt and my tweed blazer, along with my tan bag. I purchased my riding boots from ZARA, and felt a bit like Serena Van Der Woodsen when I was walking down my road this morning, LOL - But I guess it’s fair to say this outfit was slightly inspired by her! I am so incredibly in love with my tweed blazer, which I got from H&M - It’s so warm and cosy, and it’s such an important item in any prep’s wardrobe for Autumn/Winter. I just love Autumn/Winter!
