The Oscars; A night where budding actors can fulfil their life long dreams and receive the most prestigious award in the world, the evening where the tale of the highest achievement can trickle down through family generations and most importantly another opportunity to take a look what Hollywood royalty is wearing ;)
Amy Adams - First up is Amy Adams in this gorgeous dark blue L’Wren Scott dress! Not only does she look gorgeous concealed in this blue shimmer, but this is a key spring colour and creates a wonderful contrast with her Cartier jewellery and carrot top hair :)
Jennifer Hudson - The soulful singer attends the Oscars in a tangerine, Versace gown. All I gotta say is; Not impressed :/ at all. I expected more of her, I commend her on the choice of colour (yet another spring colour) just a bit too much boobage, it’s the Oscars, the dress code is; Classy & Fabulous!
Michelle Williams - Gosh, this is such an improvement from whatever she wore to the Golden Globes! Michelle looks so chic in this little Chanel number. Simple make up and no jewellery was a great decision!.
Mila Kunis - You’d think the voice over for ‘Family Guy’s’ Meg wouldn’t look as hot as this! Mila Kunis is one of my new style crushes! I’m just loving her red carpet style, Mila attends the evening in the most gorgeous lilac lace Elie Saab dress; possibly took some inspiration from the Black Swan movie? She’d be perfect as the face of a D&G campaign.
Natalie Portman - She shoots, she scores! Once again Natalie is looking gorgeous in Rodarte and is just glowing :) Loving the perfect shade of purple (key spring colour) and her Jimmy Choo’s are to die for!
Reese Witherspoon - As one of the presenters during the awards night, looking good is standard and Reese does justice in this Armani Prive LBD and Neil Jane jewellery! She look’s so 50’s with the bouffant hairstyle, Love it!.
There’s my verdict on the my most memorable dresses at the Oscars 2011 - What do you think ? Tweet me @ TDRheartsNY , I’d love to hear your opinons.
Hugs & Kisses,
Seasons Greetings My Lovelies!
Today was a special day for Hollywood stars in L.A, as it was the 68th Annual Golden Globe Nominees being announced. While everybody else’s attention is being focused on the films and actors (which is important), I couldn’t help but pay a closer attention to that the stars were wearing! ;) So here’s the 5 I have chosen and my verdict!:
Anne Hathaway in Valention & Bulgari - She looks breathtaking :’) Actually brings tears to my eyes on how gorgeous and magical this dress is! She is literally a star with the amount of sparkle on this dress. And what makes the dress look even better is the woman in it :) So sweet and down to earth. I also love this camel, sort of clay colour, very sophisticated in my opinion!.
Michelle Williams - Not too sure who designed this vintage dress, but it’s absolutely adorable! Love the retro bow neckline, she looks so ladylike and sweet. Loving the muted colours and lack of accessories! (too much accessories on a dress like this takes away from the look!).
Mila Kunis in Vera Wang - I can spot a Vera from a mile away, just like this gorgeous gown!. Love the detail in the torso area, looks like it has jewels on it?. This dress is perfect for Mila considering she’s starring in a film called Black Swan! Haha x
Claire Danes in Armani Prive - OMG!! When I saw this dress I literally went “Oh my goshh, woww!”, definitely oozes glamour! One would say it’s an cascading explosion of sparkles on Hollywood’s biggest star! ;) GORGEOUS!!
Sofia Vergara in Carolina Herrera - Firstly, I love Sofia, she’s is soo funny in The Family. When I saw this dress, I instantly thought of Bollywood glamour, with the pattern on the dress and her hair, took me back to Mumbai! ;) Hahaha!. She looks stunning as usual!
Thats all for now my dearies!
Please don’t forget to recommend me! - You’d Make My Day! :)
