Just finished properly reading my January 2012 issue of ELLE, and I have a few words to say about this particular issue.
- I love all the memoirs, articles and short stories featured within this issue. Due to the cold weather in London today I was forced to spend the day inside; I curled up on the sofa, listening to Lost Ones and totally absorbed myself within in ELLE.
- Anne-Marie Curtis’ fashion director notes were short and sweet but with a lot of detail into January’s trends (something I shall blog about soon.
- ‘Confessions of a New Girl’ was such an awesome article to read! I had a pre-conceived notion of the fashion magazine industry, I thought it would a super bitchy, super skinny environment filled with a hundred Wilhelmina’s and not a Betty in sight, but Annabel Brog solved all my worries and queries with her honest interpretation of Team ELLE. The layout of the article was very aesthetically pleasing as well.
- The interview with Lady Gaga was very interesting to say the least. She is truly one of a kind and I love the way Mark Ellen conducted the interview.
If you’ve read the issue, tell me what did you think about it ?
TDR ♥
